At my sister’s wedding my mother made a beautiful toast, thanking everyone who had shared in Kristins life leading up to that very special day, and quoted the African Proverb, “It takes a village to raise a child”
I believe this, with all of my heart.
This next weekend, for those that are local, there is a fantastic opportunity to care for our village at the CASA fun run!
I will be taking the Mindy Lockard Etiquette Show on the road to NEW YORK CITY?–I can’t hep but say that like the Pace Picante Commercial, I am a child of the 80’s/90’s–for the National Stationery Show.
But never fear, my three favorites will be there!
I did run it a couple of years ago, and this is my number still on my refrigerator…
I prayed for Donald as I ran and when I pass by the kitchen. I’ve never met Donald. But I know that Donald was taken from his home for one reason or another and it was an honor to run on his behalf and for the benefit of my village!
