I’m in a great debate with the big guy who oversees my backyard.
I’m ready for fall, and he says he’s not, just yet.
Although he has a point, our recent weather forcast calles for rain, rain, and you guessed it… more rain!
So with the wet and cold on the outside, I thought I’d get warm and cozy on the inside. Gracious living starts in the home, and I love getting my home ready for a season of gracious living for our family and friends!
You may remember this tree from last year, just accessorized differently.

Lights glowing from the hearth…
and spicing up our home with scents of the season.
Last but not least, my personal favorite, my table. Set with soup bowls, soup spoons, and baskets of hot fresh muffins.
Oh, but before I forget! Please check back tomorrow for our Take to the Table Tuesday, it’s a fall treat that shouldn’t be missed. It’s so yummy! In my humble opinion of course.

Love this ode to fall! I am ready for this wonderful season as well and looking forward to bonfires, the first pot of chili, visits to the orchard and homemade apple pie! The spices and smells of this season are very hard to beat! Thanks for the post!
