As you can imagine, a holiday that begins with the word “Thanks” is a favorite for The Gracious Girl. One of our favorite ways of celebrating is to find new and beautiful ways to dress our table.
The beauty of this vase is it can be done with a few on-hand supplies and … wait for it…
in-advance.
What Gracious Girl doesn’t love checking-off her to-dos in advance?
So here you go Gracious Girls and if you love the apron we are wearing as much as we do swing by our friend The Hip Hostess.
Stay tuned for more on Thanksgiving from The Gracious Girl! Tuesdays we bring you our easy side dishes and Thursdays DIYs!

Very, very cute!
Thank you, Jen!
This is so clever. I love your kitchen background!
What a beautiful idea! Thank you Mindy for always sharing the such gracious ideas. And of course, I have to comment, I love your apron!!
I watched the today’s video post with Alexandra and she already said we have to make an acorn vase for Thanksgiving!
I’m going to try this! Thanks Mindy!
ps…your fingernails look great (I realize that isn’t the topic at hand, just sayin’).
Thanks Kate for the kind words on the acorn DIY and… my nails!
Oh, I love this! My son is always collecting acorns and it is a fun craft too. I’ve been looking for a Thanksgiving craft for the kids and I.
Thanks, Chastity! Please let me know if you do try it! I’d love to see pictures too.
I will send pictures if we get it done. I always find acorns in my son’s pockets, so instead of throwing them away I will put them to use.
I’ve been looking for an email to send you my 5-year-old’s version of this. If you would like to email me your address, I will attach his creation.
Thank you for the great idea.
So clever! It’s a great idea for decorating the Thanksgiving table with a few of these. Thank you for sharing this idea Mindy. I do have to add the nails and kitchen, just love it!
