Pen-to-Paper Design Series

Good morning and Happy New Year! I hope you had a wonderful holiday season, we most certainly did!

Today, we are kicking off a fablous Sheaffer Pen series that I am very excited about. This series celebrates three of my favorite things: pen, paper and interior designers! Each day on each of the sites below and Sheaffer Pen’s Facebook Page we will feature a designer and how they use a Sheaffer Pen {of their choice} in their design work! While a nice pen is a beautiful accessory, it is also an important tool. Don’t you think?

Monday | Radiant Republic

Erika Johnson is an editorial contributor and lifestyle blogger based near Boston, MA.  Raised with equal time in Boston, Dallas and Seattle, Erika’s style can be described as innately New England, while weak-kneed for Southern charm. Tuesday | The Decorista

Ashlina Kaposta is an interior designer and editorial contributor based in New York City. For the last six years Ashlina has been working along side on of the top interior design firms in Los Angeles, CA. Ashlina founded The Decorista brand and brought it to NYC to provide interior design insights and showcase her styling and consulting. Her pedigree has been cultivated through working in residential and commercial interior design as well as visual merchandising for large department chains. The Decorista blog has been a catalyst in the success of Ashlina enterprise and has acquired a huge following that continues to rise. In 2010 LOOK magazine on of UK’s top selling high street fashion and celebrity weekly magazine for women, dubbed The Decorista as the next hot blog!

Wednesday | Kelsey on the House

Brian is recognized as a home renovation/design source and authority in the field for more than a decade, television host and licensed home improvement contractor. Brian Kelsey can be seen and heard regularly giving out advice on an array of media outlets. HEAR him co-hosting his daily 4 hour radio talk show, live and nation wide from 7a - 11a eastern on “Martha Stewart Living Radio” on SiriusXm Satellite Radio. SEE him and his work on television on the Martha Stewart Show, The Today Show, HGTV, DIY, The Nate Berkus Show and on his online video series “Kelsey On The House” READ about him on features in DIYLife.com, CNBC.com, JS Journal, SheKnows.com and more.

Thursday | PVE Designs

Patricia van Essche was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. Immersed in both an artistic and entrepreneurial environment, Patricia attended the University of Cincinnati’s acclaimed College of Design, Architecture and Art, where she received a BS in Fashion Design and was awarded the school’s coveted “Golden Brush” award. For 15 years she worked in New York City as a designer and design director for Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, and Liz Claiborne.

Now living in Westchester, Patricia van Essche started pve design to offer a wide range of design services, be it illustration, decorative or pattern design. She counts among her clients individuals as well as businesses.

Friday | Meredith Heron

Meredith Heron is passionate about design. Principal Designer of the Meredith Heron Design team, her approach to every project is intensely personal, while uniquely collaborative. Meredith’s distinct and remarkable flair combined with her practice of guiding and instructing customers through the process has built loyal clients and fans over the years. In addition to an impressive portfolio of residential and commercial projects, Meredith has regularly been featured as guest host and design expert on national television programs such as Restaurant Makeover, which has been seen by audiences all over the world.
