I love all four seasons.
Spring.
Summer.
Autumn.
And, Awards.
So sorry winter, while you have your wonderful moments, I just find you a bit long winded.
What I love most about each season is the food and festivities that make them special. Award’s season is no exception.
For last night’s Oscars, we celebrated with a little help from Merci Chocolate’s Awards Party Pack and thanks to Merci you can enter to win one too.
Our menu was more casual than glamorous, but we liked it that way. It fit with my yoga pants and remote theme.
We started with slow cooked pork sliders topped with sautéed veggies and cabbage.
The Popcorn containers from the Merci Chocolates Party Pack made for a festive way to serve side dishes.
A little crunch…
Color: kale salad (I’m addicted to this salad and will have the recipe for you next week) …
And what would an Oscar celebration be without a little sparkle?

The best part of the night was away with our own decadent gold…
The one thing award shows do is remind of us of the power of saying “Thank You” … or should I say, “Merci”

I find the most meaningful way to say thank you is by sending a hand written note! Going that extra step makes all the difference… anyone can send an email.
