I had all but hit publish on a post featuring our fabulous weekend getaway in sunny Del Mar and my dream day as Gidget (which will now post on Friday) but stopped the press to bring you this…
Some are students of schools of thought. I am a student of my friend Jen’s school of thoughtfulness. Not only did she graciously agree to pick-up our paper and mail while we were away, we arrived home to find this waiting on our back steps…
filled with this…
everything I need to get my little family of four through the first morning back from vacation:
Natural farm eggs, bakery fresh whole wheat bread, homemade zucchini muffins, organic orange juice, bananas, and my all time favorite beef from Jen’s family’s all natural cattle ranch.
Jen, I am not only grateful for the breakfast you provided, but for inspiring me in the way you think of others! You embody a life of gracious living; thank you for sharing that life and the groceries that follow with me.
I will see you in the morning since my market run can now wait until after our tennis lesson!
Love, Love!

You are welcome.
That is the sweetest, most considerate thing I’ve ever seen. Jennifer, it’s nice to know that (as they say in the south) “Your momma raised you right”. It’s nice to know that kindness (treating people as you want to be treated) is not a dying art. Have a wonderful day ladies!!
I couldn’t agree more, Lisa. It’s wonderful to have friends that make us want to be a better people. Thank you for stopping by.
