With Thanksgiving less than 24 hours away there is no time like the present to focus on expressing gratitude with the written word. One question I’m often asked while on the speaking trial is:
“Do you have tips for writing a good Thank-You note?”
Thank-You notes are best when written with words from the heart. However, sometimes even when our hearts are in the note, our minds can’t come up with the words. One helpful way to break the writer’s block is to having a collection of well written cards that can be used as a resource – the best collections start with the well written notes we find in our mailboxes.
I’m honored to share a collection of Thank-You notes with you. What I love about this collection is that it reflects different points in time and generations of note writing. This fabulous collection comes to you from our Pen Pal, Kat’s mother. This collection is a perfect example of the power in setting a good example when it comes to note writing. It’s pretty clear that Kat’s mother’s appreciation of the written word has been passed to her daughter!
