Chalk it Up to a Great Year!

by Mindy Lockard on June 4, 2009

Here is a little something we give our teachers at the end of each year.  The girls enjoy picking out the pots, ribbon and flowers… not to mention they really like the smell of the paint. Should I be worried?

teacher-thank-yous-2Items needed:

  1. Clay pot
  2. Can of chalkboard spray paint
  3. Potted plant, flower, or herb (our children pick, I have to let it go)
  4. Ribbon
  5. Chalk

Do you have a teacher’s thank-you tradition?

Cutie, cute, cute!
Having been a former teacher, this is a gift I would have really enjoyed getting. This year for my first grader our room moms collected photos of all the kids and a few quotes from each and made a beautiful book using iphoto. I’ve also done the L.L. bean tote with “1st grade rocks” stitched on the front, loaded with beach goodies for the teacher.
Happy summer break!
