It’s hard to believe that it’s already day 8. It’s true what they say, time does fly when you’re having fun!
I recently had great feedback from a reader:
“I loved your card post, but I have to admit, it did overwhelm me a bit.”
While I had hoped our #HolidayPrep series would be helpful, I knew that it might also be overwhelming to some. The holidays are magical, but they can also feel like a marathon of To-Dos and stress, and even some simple suggestions can feel burdensome. So where and how can we find joy in what is supposed to be the most wonderful time of the year?
I’ve struggled with this myself. I teach etiquette and have built a platform around gracious living, but that doesn’t mean I am immune to holiday stress. I have felt it, which is one reason I start early. My hope is that The Gracious Girl blog provides a place to relax into suggestions, like a best friend who brings over the lattes and some good ideas to help you tackle your list.
I won’t be able to physically pay a call, but I can do the next best thing and bring a few of my favorite cards to you. So pour yourself a mug of something hot and spicy, and I’ll round up a few of my favorite cards.
And, wait, there’s more! Not only am I here to help, but our friends at Cardstore have offered to get our readers off on the right foot by giving 50 free cards. How gracious is that?
Here’s how you enter. Go to Cardstore, and pick your favorite holiday card. Return here and share the name. Voilà, you’re entered to win! I will draw names on November 25th, and you’ll be well on your way to wrapping up your holiday card.
Super-sweet deal, no?
Okay, friends, so I won’t take anymore of your precious holiday time, and I leave you to peruse.
See you back here shortly. Enjoy!
