G3 Fourth of July Fun on KATU’s Afternoon Live!

Happy 4th of July Eve, All!

Today the G3 (Gracious Girls Guide) Girls and I are back on KATU Channel 2’s Afternoon Live sharing our Tips and Tricks for creating a festive holiday for friends and family.

Her area all of our patriotic party plans…

Starting off with the Lemon Pound Cake Waffles…

  • Krusteaz Meyer Lemon Pound Cake Mix
  • 1 Stick of Butter
  • Red, White, and Blue berries of your choice
  • Skewers
  • Water
  • Whipped Cream

Step 1)  Warm Up your waffle maker and mix the ingredients as directed on the box

Step 2) Place in maker and leave it until the waffle maker beeps at you! (Our waffles got a little toasty!)

Step 3) Add your favorite berries onto a skewer making a berry kabob!

Step 4) Final Step! To finish off your masterpiece add some powdered sugar and whipped cream.

Now you have a yummy festive breakfast to cater everyones cravings!

Next up, Picture Perfect Photo Booth!

What you need:

  • Festive Ribbons
  • Markers
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Sticky Letters
  • Extra paper for fun props

Step 1) Take your festive ribbon and lay it flat on the floor making a loop in the end to tie it up.

Step 2)  Write your own or use sticker letters and adhere them onto paper and glue them on to the banner for cute designs! Make it your own.

Step 3)  Go online and find cute prop ideas: top hats, bowties, Statue of Libery hats, flags, traditional 4th of July sweet treats!

When you are all finished add some festive stars or flags to complete the look.

Everybody say Cheese!

Last but not least… add a POP to your Table Decor! 

What you need:

  • Crape Paper
  • Tape
  • Flags
  • Jars
  • Flowers
  • Bandanas

For our final project just gather your Crepe Paper and arrange it in any pattern you think is adorable and best fits your table. First measure and tape each strand as you go… especially if it’s windy out.

until your pattern is complete!

Add to your table decore with jars tied with a ribbon and filled with fresh cut flowers + pop in an American Flag! 

and add a final 4th of July flair by using bandanas as napkins. How cute is this?
