Labels and Envelopes and Folders… Oh My!

by Mindy Lockard on May 1, 2009

Girl Friday etiquettes tackle the wonderful world of college life from living among housemates to preparing for the all important interview.   We invite you to follow her journey as she embraces a life of gracious living one Friday at a time!

Labels are printed, folders are assembled and envelopes are stuffed. With the re-launch scheduled for Wednesday, May 6, putting together media kits is no easy feat! Mindy and I spent the past few days relentlessly researching and slaving away-all in hopes of earning a little media coverage! Though we had many bumps along the way we learned a lot and are so excited for the online re-launch.

The events will begin at 4 p.m. Pacific Standard Time.  Guests will get an opportunity to view the launch video, which consist of footage from the live launch, as well as testimonials from subscribers and creator Mindy Lockard.  The e-launch will also feature a live blog question and answer chat with Mindy Lockard.  The event will offer giveaways such as table setting magnets to the first fifty subscribers. Participants who subscribe for a year will also get two free issues.

This online experience is a one-of-a-kind and innovative way to showcase the new content and online social network for Over the past several months I am sure you have noticed ManneroftheMonth’s strong presence online through social media avenues such as Twitter, Facebook and of course the blog. I have learned through this launch process more than ever the importance of communicating with others in order to promote a product. Social media has been a great opportunity to not only have two-way communication with our clients, but to create relationships with new and potential subscribers.

I am hopefully that ManneroftheMonth will receive positive publicity through our media kit efforts. Even though we realized we bought the wrong size envelopes-AFTER we packaged the kits! Putting a little effort in now will hopefully pay off in the long run. I look forward to seeing you on the web May 6th!
