On Friday I received a message in my facebook inbox requesting a New York Times interview regarding my recent attempt to cook from Mastering the Art of French Cooking for our Happy Birthday Julia Party. I quickly called the reporter back and had a lovely conversation about my experience and the party around Ms. Child’s birthday.
So tonight after returning home from seeing the very sweet movie Julie and Julia — which now has me craving Boeuf Bourguignon at 10:00 PM. I popped on the New York Times website to see if the piece on Julia Child was going to be published in Monday’s edition. It was! Perfect timing after just seeing the movie.
