Summertime Playground Manners

by Mindy Lockard on June 14, 2010

With summer just around the corner, at we are gearing up for June’s issue, Summer Social.   The beauty of summer, aside from the weather, is the many social opportunities! This month’s issue is here to make sure we get the most out of each social opportunity becasue let’s face it, when we feel confident we enjoy ourselves and others enjoy being around us.

The playground is the perfect practice ground for our children to sharpen their social skills!  Elle and Maggie dropped by our neighborhood playground to bring you a few of their favorite dos and don’ts for playground manners… as you will see they especially enjoyed showing the don’ts.  But in my experience, most people do.

Happy Summer Friends!  Join us for this month’s Manner of the Month: Summer Social (available June 15)!

Your girls are lovely and adorable. I liked the outtakes with Maggie claiming to not know why one needs to be careful at the playground — while swinging without holding on! 🙂

Thank you Joanna. That’s Maggie for you, she love to pretend to ask questions and answer them.

When my twins were little, we became good friends with a British Nanny and she had a brilliant line at the playground, “Slides are for sliding and stairs are for climbing!” I shall never forget that one!
Sweet girls and love the matching dresses.
