Father’s Day has my foodie wheels turning. Turning in the direction of pork, BBQ and Bloody Marys. Together?
Say it with me, “Bloody Mary Bacon Swizzle. Sticks”
It all starts with these ingredients:
- Uncured Bacon (I prefer the Beeler’s British Brand Back Bacon)
- 2 Cups UBONS BBQ Sauce (YOU-BHANS)
- 3 TBS Honey
- Tom Douglas Pork Rub
Step One: Do the Twist
Twist bacon and lay on a baking sheet. Brush bacon twists with BBQ sauce and sprinkle with Pork Rub. Bake 350 for 30 to 40 minutes or until the bacon is crispy.
Step Two: Repeat
Continue to turn bacon and brush with sauce approximately every 10 minutes.
Step Three: Mix Your Mary
- Your favorite Bloody Mary Mix (I love UBONS Bloody Mary Mix pronounced “YOU-BAHNS” Bloody Mary Mix as it contains all natural ingredients and is gluten free)
- Pickled Beans
- Bacon Swizzle Sticks
Mix and Serve!
