A Family Favorite with a twist!

by Mindy Lockard on October 4, 2009

Of all the seasons, autumn truly makes my heart sing. While I enjoy cozy winter nights, spring blossoms, and bright summer mornings with open windows, autumn warms my soul. What I love most, though, is how the cooler temperatures inspire me to pull out my cookbooks, step away from the grill, and settle into my kitchen.

Beyond cooking, there are many valuable manners to hone as we embrace food in general. Expanding our children’s confidence is not only delicious, but also enables us an opportunity to display a truly gracious tableside mannerโ€”a welcome attribute at any table. Which leads us to this month’s issue of www.ManneroftheMonth.com magazine, Fall for Food

In the spirit of this month’s manner we bring you a family favorite recipe and a few tips to help get your children involved in the process…

To join me as we Fall for Food subscribe to the issue — I promise the fall won’t hurt, you may get hungry though…

The mac and cheese looked delicious and the presentation in the tomatoes is a fabulous idea. I’ll let you know when I try it – Thanks for all your inspiration!
