We’re having a #SheafferLiving #HolidayPrep Party!!!

by Mindy Lockard on November 12, 2012

We are preparing for the holidays and would love to have you join us!

The holidays are a time for food, friends and the handwritten word. Joining our Twitter Party are three fabulous experts who are sure to help us get the most out of our #HolidayPrep!

Starting with our friends at Crane & Co. who have graciously agreed to join us for all things inspiration in the world of Holiday Greetings and Thank-Yous. I don’t know about you, but I just love the feeling of Crane & Co. paper. Yummy.

The simple elegance of cotton papers have long made them the paper of choice for fine stationery and invitations. Crane & Co. has been providing the highest quality of craftsmanship to stationery since 1801.

And what would a Holiday be without food? To help us keep our kitchen wits about us we will be joined by the funny and fabulous Kitchen Living Expert @CoryanneEttiene!

As the mother of 3 young children and a desire to mix her modern lifestyle with the romantic tales of kitchen living told by her grandmother, Coryanne Ettiene is passionate about changing the way people live in their kitchen and interact with the food they bring to the table.  Her childhood inspired her to travel the world, embrace education and work hard.  By the time she was 30, Coryanne had the benefit of living in South Africa, People’s Republic of China, Syria and England, earned a MPhil from King’s College London and spent over 10 years working as a management consultant in Europe.   When she left her job to focus on motherhood, Coryanne reluctantly took on the role of housewife, admitting that she had limited knowledge of how to cook a meal or host a dinner party. Her embarrassment over her a pot of burnt rice ultimately drover her desire to embrace domesticity and put into action the lessons she had learned about kitchen living from her childhood and her adventures traveling around the world.  The transition from the board room to the kitchen was a reluctant courtship, filled with over adventurous culinary disasters and the epiphany that, like all things in life, kitchen living is a life long lesson and one that should be laughed at, celebrated and shared. We are so honored that she will be with us to share her experiences and expertise!

Finally, a panelist who is sure to help us enjoy a stylish and beautiful holiday season without breaking the bank, stylishly frugile living expert @GoGingham!

We love Sarah because she loves freshly ironed handkerchiefs, corded telephones, and microwave free kitchens.  Sarah doesn’t have a smart phone, the latest fashions, or a manicure. She keeps chickens in her backyard, a list of places she would like to travel, and love notes.  She reads actual books, daily newspaper, and every reminder note taped to her front door. Most of all, we love Sarah because she believes that…

We are SO excited for Thursday’s chat and look forward to seeing you there!
